Cuprite
1908 - 1909, Cuprite was the closest railroad town to the Boom Towns of Lida, Hornsilver, Bonnie Clare and, Tule Canyon. In 1955, Nell Murbarger reported that Cuprite "had been reduced to one old fireplace chiminy, partially fallen." The Hornsilver Auto Company was advertising transportation to neighboring camps - Goldfield for $7.50 and Cuprite for $5.00.
